The Material Matrix Vacuum Brazing published by Listemann Technology AG should enable an initial assessment of the suitability of different materials

The material matrix should enable an initial/rough assessment of the suitability for vacuum brazing. This applies to similar joints (e.g. steel with steel) as well as to material combinations (e.g. steel with carbide). The material matrix gives no information and no guarantee as to whether a particular material combination makes sense and is suitable for use. This can only ensure a consideration and evaluation of the specific application. Please inquire about materials not listed. If there is general interest, the matrix can be supplemented under certain circumstances. Critical remarks are welcome!
